Garden Walling
Harris Quarries have a large selection garden walling ranging from offcutts to newly quarried dry stone walling. There are many ways to buy garden stone with the most cost effective being our off-cuts. These are the pieces of stone that are cut off the end of heads and sills when they are being made, they can be any shape and size ranging from 25mm up to 300mm with various length and width. Once chopped up they make a very uniform wall as most have sawn edges on them. The most popular type of garden wall is our dry stone walling and we supply this in two forms, it can either be un chopped straight from the quarry or chopped to 100mm on bed. If supplied rough from the quarry and laid traditionally you can expect coverage averaging 2.5 square metres to the ton. If it is per ton although there is a substantial cost difference. Pitch faced garden walling is either dry stone walling or off-cuts that are pitched using a hammer and chisel to leave a protruding rock face with a straight arris around the edges.
Whether you need ten tonnes or ten pieces you are welcome to visit our new site at Ulley and view our extensive range.
