Moorgate Crofts, Rotherham

Moorgates Crofts was a £5.5m development and one of our largest projects to date. This prestigious office development of Horbury Building Systems consists of over 600 square metres of 290mm x 600mm ashlar block.

Reservoir Croft, Calverley

Reservoir Croft is an executive 18-unit development and was a serious undertaking for Harris Quarries. Originally a Victorian underground reservoir, we modified and re-designed almost every window to produce an idyllic residential opportunity.

Town Houses, Rotherham

This is one of the 'hands on' projects where we worked very closely with our client ensuring every aspect of their design vision materialised. This prestigious three-storey residential development was a private project. Originally the site of a derelict church it has now been transformed into a much sought after location that has significantly improved the surrounding area.

Bay window and extension, Sheffield

From concept to completion this bay window and spacious extension was completed in approximately twelve weeks by Hillsden Construction Ltd, Sheffield. All the heads, cills and hood moulding was made to match the crown detail designed by Hillsden Construction in association with Harris Quarries.

 

Bowcliffe Hall

  • Petrographic Description : Sedimentary limestone of Jurassic age
  • Quarry: Metheringham
  • Product Sawn ashlar blocks
  • Contractor: LCC Restorations Leeds
  • Location Bowcliff Hall Nr Leeds

Although the stone was only supplied sawn six sides, the size of the pieces was quite daunting. 750 kg pieces 1200 mm x 1200 mm x 200 mm were the largest supplied to be carved by stone masons working for LCC Restorations Ltd at their stone yard in Leeds.
